I just finished reading a short article in the August 2009 issue of America's 1st Freedom reminding us how government and its agents are under no general duty to provide police protection to any individual citizen. It makes a good few points how individuals must protect themselves and provide for the common good as well as how instant responders (armed individuals) can prevent the kind of tragedy that first responders can only clean up. Thought this might be something to post or blog on your site as a reminder of what we already know!
