<p>Kudos to Representative Hickman for standing up for our rights and the people his district and the great state of Oklahoma. &nbsp;I might mention that I live in his district so we are pretty proud of him here.</p>
<p>If you live in Oklahoma it&#8217;s time to let your voice be heard and lets make sure this bill gets all the support needed to get it passed into law.</p>

The round failed to eject completely and jammed in the chamber when the bolt closed on it. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>Maybe it me but it seems in my younger days when I first started shooting back in the early 70s I don&#8217;t remember having any case failures such as this on many others I&#8217;ve experienced the last few years. &nbsp;What&#8217;s the deal? &nbsp;All of them where new ammunition not reloads.</p>

<p>If he&#8217;s so OK with his daughters being guarded by men with &#8220;guns&#8221; why doesn&#8217;t he think my daughter, sons and grand children should have something similar?&nbsp; Maybe since the liberal left wants to take away our God given right to self protection they need to provide each of us with a armed guard.&nbsp; With the great abundance of money the government has right now they should be able to afford it and think of the jobs that would create&#8230;.</p>

<p>I&#8217;m guessing he&#8217;s sitting in the White House doing shots with his buddy and laughing about how they pulled it off.</p>
<p>By the way, release the photos of the body and the raid.&nbsp; Images can be faked but it&#8217;s a start and problebly the best we are going to be able to do.</p>

<p>STATE OF OKLAHOMA<br /><br />1st Session of the 53rd Legislature (2011)<br /><br />COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE<br />FOR<br />HOUSE BILL NO. 2088&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;By:&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Terrill<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE<br /><br />&lt;StartFT&gt;An Act relating to crimes and punishments; creating the Oklahoma Self-Defense Act of 2011; providing presumption of self-defense under certain circumstances; making presumption rebuttable with certain evidence; providing for noncodification; providing for codification; and providing an effective date. &lt;EndFT&gt;<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:<br />SECTION 1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; NEW LAW&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; A new section of law not to be codified in the Oklahoma Statutes reads as follows:<br />This act shall be known and may be cited as the &ldquo;Oklahoma Self-Defense Act of 2011&rdquo;.<br />SECTION 2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; NEW LAW&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; A new section of law to be codified in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section &lt;734&gt; of Title &lt;21&gt;, unless there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:<br />There shall be a presumption that a homicide occurred in self-defense or in defense of others if:<br />1.&nbsp; The deceased was engaged in or attempting to engage in an armed robbery; <br />2.&nbsp; The homicide was in close temporal proximity to the armed robbery; and<br />3.&nbsp; The homicide occurred on the property where the armed robbery had taken place.<br />This presumption is rebuttable by clear and convincing evidence that the homicide was not in self-defense or in the defense of others.<br />SECTION 3.&nbsp; This act shall become effective &lt;November 1, 2011&gt;.<br /><br />53-1-6802&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&lt;GRS&gt;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&lt;02/22/11&gt;<br /><br /><br /></p>
