obama is OK with guns???

In a recent interview obama made the following quote: “I should also point out that I have men with guns that surround them, often … ,”.  Given that he was “joking” or was he really?  It seems those that are surrounded by armed guards don’t have any problem with disarming us that don’t.

If he’s so OK with his daughters being guarded by men with “guns” why doesn’t he think my daughter, sons and grand children should have something similar?  Maybe since the liberal left wants to take away our God given right to self protection they need to provide each of us with a armed guard.  With the great abundance of money the government has right now they should be able to afford it and think of the jobs that would create….

Nobel "Maybe" He Will Do Something Good Prize

This absolutely makes me sick!  I’ve always thought that a “prize” is given to the “winner” or to someone who has accomplished something great.  Since he had to be nominated no more than 12 days into his term, what did he do to deserve this?  Maybe it goes along with his socialist view of life, take away from those that have worked for what they deserve and give to those that didn’t. 

It does remind me of a charter in a series of books that I’ve read over the last several years or so, maybe you have heard of them and the character he reminds me of, Nicolae Carpathia in the “Left Behind” series by Jerry Jenkins and Tim LaHaye.  If you look at the parallels of bho and Carpathia it’s a little scary or interesting, however you look at it.  They both rose from obscurity very quickly with great popularity of the people.  They both could do something obviously wrong and yet the masses do see it, they see exactly what he wants or tells them they see.

Think about it and draw your own conclusion.

Obama Supports Inter-American Arms Treaty

I’ve picked up on several comments lately about the Inter-American Arms Treaty and thought I might through it out for you to review for yourself. What I’m hearing and reading is that this will at the very least effect those of us that reload our own ammunition. We will be forced to get a licenses and will only be allowed to posses limited amounts of powder, primers and bullets. Gone will be the days of being to pickup bulk supplies when you find a good deal on it. I’ll list my sources for this information and ask that you join me in keeping a eye on this and letting our Washington representatives know how we feel.

NASA Space Shuttle Future

The obama appointed a new director of NASA this week and for the first and I expect last time ever I have some hope he might do the right thing. Charles Bolden, a former NASA Astronaut gives me hope that there may be a possibility that the Space Shuttle and the future ability to service hardware in space may be preserved.
